Mission Statement 2015
A completely new design and the launch of miasanrot.com as a service for our English-speaking readers are the biggest changes of the summer. We are taking this huge step to enter the global market so that we can provide all non-German Bayern fans with our analyses and reports. The most visited Bayern blog in Germany is now international!
What is Miasanrot? Unless you speak German, chances are that you haven’t heard much if anything about us. We’re a small but passionate group of Bayern fans who wanted a less superficial coverage of our favorite club and ultimately decided to take things into our own hands.
What do we provide? Match recaps that not only tell what happened but try to explain why it happened, background stories with a focus on objectivity instead of emotions, regular analysis pieces and the occasional interview as well. Of course we cover the first team in their annual quest for Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Champions League glory but the reserves and the women’s part are talked about with the same passion and love for detail.
Feel free to check out our website as we’ve already added some older articles to give you an impression of what we do and how we do it.
Of course we want to stay true to our style. We are Bayern fans. Naturally we look at things with a bit of a bias. After all, this is a Bayern blog. Nevertheless, we want to analyze Bayern matches objectively, examine tactical developments thoroughly and report background stories journalistically. That is our aspiration, that is why we run this project with so much passion.
This blog needs you – your comments, ideas, links, criticism and discussions. Every advice and every suggestion matter.
We are looking forward to experiencing the upcoming season together with you!
